(The Documentation of Missing Persons in Syria) project, implemented by the Human Rights Protectors Organization in partnership with the International Committee on Missing Persons, which consists of creating data for the families of the missing, and interviewing their families in order to collect data on their missing children to search for them, whether they are alive or dead, and to identify them in the future through DNA.
The project also included awareness campaigns and seminars on the importance of documenting detainees, and an introduction to the work of the International Committee for Missing Persons. It also included advocating the issue of the missing in international circles and involving the families of the missing in this process.
